Four Delicious Paellas
This paella reflects the bounty of the Mediterranean. The saffron-pepper, onion and seafood broth flavored rice dish is furnished with an abundance of clams, lobster, scallops, shrimp, mussels and calamari. It is finished with green peas and a delightful garnish of bell peppers and tomatoes.
Saffron is derived from the plant crocus sativus. In autumn, the flowers are collected and the yellow stigmas are delicately separated from the flower head. Paella Real is our saffron infused paella that expresses the marriage of land and the sea. We combine chorizo, chicken, scallops, shrimp, mussels, clams and calamari.
The Valencia origins inspire a mixture of onions, peppers and garlic, cooked in the paella with Spanish olive oil. We then add the chicken, Spanish chorizo, arborio rice, brood, paprika, saffron and finish with green beans and lima beans.
